Here is your assignment for today and Friday. Write a short story, at least three paragraphs, for each of the four types of writing we do in 4th grade. These stories need to have a main idea, and details that support that main idea. Make a copy of this page, and share it with me so I can look at it. After you are done, please put all of your stories on your blog.(Add a picture if you can) Each one is a different post! Take your time, and do your best! Persuasive Essay: Try and convince me to buy, or like something.
There is a new double cheeseburger at wendys. It is the sweetest and most juiciest of all times. You should try it, it is really good. Don't wait come and get right now for only $2.99. Trust me it is the best hamburger in the world.
Informative Essay: Write me a story about something that you know about.
One thing I know about is dogs. Dogs are nice and friendly they go almost everywhere you go. Have you ever heard the saying that a dog is a mans best friend. It is true because you go on walks with you dog, you go swimming with your dog you do a lot of thing with your dog. Also if you don't have one you should get one because they are nice to play with if you dont have alot of friends or you are lonely because they would make you day every day.
Narrative Essay: This is a fiction story. Once I turned into a fish. I was very hungry I went and ate a fish he was very tasty. Then I went to bed and had a dream that a big fish ate me. Then when I woke up I was hungry again so I went looking to eat a fish I found a fish that was eight feet bigger than me, I was going to try to eat him. So I went as fast as I could and all he did was opened his mouth and I accidentally swam right into his mouth then he ate me that was the end of the fish.
Research Paper: Research something, and write a story about it.
Amphibians must shed their skin as they get bigger in size. The old skin comes off like a piece of clothing that has become too tight. Usually, this shed skin is eaten by the frog.The eyes and nose of a frog are on top of its head so it can breathe and see when most of its body is under water.
People who study frogs and toads are called herpetologists. Herpetology is the study of amphibians and reptiles.
